Samsung has just posted what is the first Tizen-based source code that has been made public. The company has released the kernel source for the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, its second-generation smartwatches that run its in-house OS instead of Android. The kernel source, as usual, will come in handy for developers and tinkerers that are looking to modify the devices' software (including creating custom kernels), and can be downloaded from Samsung's Open Source Release Center at the source link.
