Yesterday, Samsung announced that the Android 4.4 KitKat update will begin rolling out to devices, and now, the company has posted the KitKat kernel source for the Sprint variant of the Galaxy Note 3. The KitKat kernel source for the Sprint Galaxy S4 was followed by the OTA update, so it's a surefire sign that the company's latest flagship phablet is next in line. As for the source code, it is sized at 892MB and should be of help to developers who create custom ROMs and kernels, which will hopefully result in more stable custom software (like CyanogenMod) based on the latest version of Android.
Head to the source link to download the kernel files if you're interested.
