Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, officially unveiled back in August, will be launching in the U.S. on November 10th for $229.99, and will be available from Samsung and all major retailers in the country. The tablet comes with an impact-resistant case and numerous software features to make it a better experience for kids, including a special kid interface, advanced parental controls, kid-friendly games, and more.
The specs remain the same as the standard Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 – there's a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 7-inch 1026×600 display, 8GB of internal storage and a microSD slot, 3-megapixel rear camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. A version of the tablet with a hard travel case will be available for $249.99, and you'll also get perks such as $10 Google Play credit, free 12-months of Boingo Mobile Wi-Fi access, 3-Month Hulu Plus Membership for new users, and two years of up to 50GB of DropBox storage.
