We've seen the Galaxy S4 Active with the Snapdragon 800 processor pop up in a few places lately, and now the faster variant of the device has apparently been confirmed by Korean carrier SK Telecom, with a launch set for sometime in October. The rugged, water- and dust-proof IP67-certified device will be priced at around 900,000 won (~$840), and will come with support for SK Telecom's LTE-A network (up to 150mbps) thanks to the Snapdragon 800 ticking away inside.

Apart from the possibility of users getting Android 4.3 out of the box, the specs should remain mostly the same, including a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2,600mAh battery. There's no guarantee we'll see it launch internationally, though we can always hope and keep our fingers crossed.
