The Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear had all the spotlight at Samsung's announcement event in India today, but the Korean manufacturer made sure to mention the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in passing as well, and has confirmed that it will be launching in India sometime in October. Details like exact launch date and pricing were not given, but in case of the latter, we're probably looking at a price near or over Rs. 50,000.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 boasts the most pixel-dense display Samsung has put on a tablet after the Nexus 10, with a 10.1-inch Super Clear LCD screen of 2560×1600 resolution. It is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 5 processor along with 3GB of RAM, and also includes an 8-megapixel rear camera, 16GB internal storage and a microSD slot, an 8,220mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It will offer the same improved S Pen as the Note 3, and should be available in Wi-Fi and 3G variants.
