Today Coming incorporated, well known for its gorilla glass made two announcements.
They have renewed their license agreement for another five years with Samsung Coming Precision Materials (SCP) and the AMLCD department of Samsung Electronics (SEC).
The technology license agreement got renemewed with SCP and the long term supply commitment with SEC.
Besides that Coming closed a new agreement with Samsung Mobile Display (SMD) on the manufacturing of glass substrates for OLED devices.
The location for this new bussiness will be South Korea where they will be manufacturing products and solutions for OLED technology used in mobile devices to TV's. The new venture will also be the supplier of OLED backplane substrates.
