Samsung has launched a great new promotion in India that will help promote health and fitness, while also driving sales for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, arguably the best Samsung smartwatch on the market right now.
The company is promising a discount of 25% on the Galaxy Watch Ultra to all those who participate in the “Walk-a-thon India” and complete 200,000 steps in one month, starting today.
This is the second such event of its kind. Samsung launched the first edition of the Walk-a-thon India back in February this year. It saw 100,000 entries from participants across the country.
Participants have to track their daily step count for one month starting today until May 20, 2025, via the Samsung Health app. All those who complete 200,000 steps will get a 25% discount on the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Additional prizes are on offer as well. Three lucky winners will also get one Galaxy Watch Ultra for free.
This challenge is being hosted exclusively on the Samsung Health app available on the company's Galaxy phones. There will be a real-time leaderboard in the app through which participants can monitor their progress.
Participants will only be eligible for the prizes and the discount if they complete a minimum of 200,000 steps by May 20, 2025. Once the challenge is completed, they have to visit the Samsung Members app between May 26 and June 15, 2025 to claim the prizes.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a perfect companion for those who desire to be on top of their health and fitness. It provides automatic workout tracking for many different exercises, has an excellent step counter, along with advanced AI features to help with rest and recovery.
