US carrier Galaxy A52 gets March 2023 security update

Yesterday, the Galaxy A52 5G started getting the March 2023 security patch in more than a dozen countries across Asia and Europe. Now, not to be left behind, the US carrier Galaxy A52 5G models are receiving the same March 2023 update.

The new security patch for the Galaxy A52 5G in the USA, model number SM-A526U, is attached to firmware version A526USQS7EWC1. Aside from improving security, the update doesn't bring any changes to One UI or Android OS, as confirmed by the firmware number.

Through this new update, Samsung and Google have addressed over 50 security vulnerabilities, so, as the adage goes: better to be safe than sorry. You should download the new update on your US carrier Galaxy A52 5G as soon as it is available.
