Samsung TV Plus is improving constantly with new and fresh content for users to enjoy. The FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) service in the Netherlands has received four new content platforms, Samsung confirmed this week.

The four platforms Samsung added to TV Plus are Top Gear, Music platform XITE, Dateline 24/7, and Studio 100. They've been available in the Netherlands for a couple of weeks now, but they never got a formal announcement until yesterday.

BBC Studios' Top Gear is available with 100% Dutch subtitles. More specifically, seasons 14-to-22 are now streaming on TV Plus in the Netherlands.

Music platform XITE has launched two new channels in the Netherlands, namely XITE Ultimate Throwback and XITE Christmas. The Ultimate Throwback channel is great for nostalgic music enthusiasts, while XITE Christmas is all about celebrating the holidays.

The XITE channels are live, but Samsung says XITE Christmas will be converted to XITE R&B Classic Jams in January.

Next up, we have Dateline 24/7 — a channel dedicated to crime stories from around the world.

And fourthly, the Studio 100 content platform is also streaming on Samsung TV Plus in the Netherlands through three new channels: Studio 100 TV, Studio 100 Hits, and Nham!, which is a culinary channel that asks and answers the question “What are we eating today?”

Most Samsung TVs on the market today come preloaded with the free TV Plus content platform. If you are looking for a new TV for TV Plus or otherwise, Samsung launched numerous great Black Friday deals yesterday.
