Samsung's pre-order period for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 officially ended on Friday. The company offered some amazing deals on its new foldable phones during that time, including a free storage upgrade, which was very useful as this device doesn't have a microSD card slot.
The company also offers enhanced trade-in values during pre-orders as a way to get customers to upgrade. Even though the free storage upgrade is gone, you can still take advantage of the best trade-in values on offer.
The free storage upgrade delivers great value. It doesn't require you to trade-in an old device and is offered without any strings attached. So if you pre-order the 256GB Galaxy Z Fold 7, you get the 512GB one instead, and save $120 in the process.
That deal is now gone as the pre-order period has ended. Samsung offered trade-in values of up to $1000 as well, and you can still take advantage of them for a limited time, as the company tends to reduce these values soon after release.
This would make the Galaxy Z Fold 7 upgrade more manageable if you've got a recent device. Samsung will give you $1000 for your Galaxy Z Fold 6 or Galaxy S25 Ultra. A Galaxy Z Fold 5 will fetch you $900, which is an incredible offer for a device that's two years old.
Trade-in values are high across a whole host of devices, including from companies other than Samsung. Head over to the company's online store to save a big chunk of money on the world's thinnest foldable phone.
