The wait is over, Good Lock is finally available globally!

The day has finally come, ladies and gents. The global rollout of Good Lock has begun! You can now grab the app from the Galaxy Store and start customizing your device to your heart's content. Good Lock doesn't seem to be available through the Play Store yet but Samsung will likely change this soon.

After years of waiting for Samsung to unchain the Good Lock platform from its region-locked roots, it's finally happening. We can now confirm that Good Lock is available globally, or at the very least, that the global rollout has begun — assuming Samsung will release it in stages.

You can check if Good Lock is available in your region via the Galaxy Store by hitting the button below. We've been able to confirm that the app is live in one country that was previously locked out of Good Lock, i.e., Romania. Other regions are bound to have joined the party.

We suspected the global Good Lock release should take place around the time the stable One UI 7 update rolls out for more devices. And while Samsung unfortunately had to halt the One UI 7 update for unknown reasons (perhaps Secure Folder security concerns), the company went ahead and launched Good Lock worldwide.

It's a bit of good news that we all needed now, given how uncertain the situation seem to be regarding the availability of One UI 7.

Good Lock is a powerful tool that lets you customize your Galaxy phone to a great extent. It opens up new possibilities through various modules that you can install individually, depending on which facets of One UI you want to personalize.
