Naughty Dog has opened pre-orders for The Last of Us Part II Remastered for the PlayStation 5 (PS5) in India. You can pre-order the digital copy of the game’s standard version from the PlayStation Store for INR 2,999. Unfortunately, the developer hasn’t opened pre-orders for the title’s W.L.F Edition, which comes with collectibles, or the physical copy in the country yet. Expect that to happen in the next few days.

Naughty Dog announced The Last of Us Part II Remastered in November this year. Back then, the developer said that it would release the game on January 19, 2024, and it would open pre-orders for the game on December 5, 2023, in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Austria. As scheduled, the title went on pre-orders in those regions earlier this month. Now, it’s available in India.

Upgrade to the remastered edition for just $10

If you already own The Last of Us Part II for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), you will be able to upgrade to the digital version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PS5 for $10 when Naughty Dog releases the game. You’ll also be able to “import your saves from the original game to Part II Remastered.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered brings a new gameplay mode called No Return, which is a “roguelike survival mode designed to let players prove their mettle in randomized encounters and experience The Last of Us Part II’s combat in a fresh experience.” You also get graphical and performance improvements, including 4K visuals, support for variable refresh rate (VRR), faster loading times, and enhanced accessibility features.
