Now that Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 series with One UI 8.5, the company is expected to release the stable version of the new software for older devices. It appears that the stable One UI 8.5 update could arrive soon for the Galaxy S25 series.
Samsung seems ready to release the stable One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The company has uploaded a new stable firmware with version S93xBXXU8CZC9 on its servers, and it includes the March 2026 security patch. However, this may not be the final firmware released to devices, as things could change if bugs or reliability issues are discovered.
The company could release the update first in South Korea and then expand it to other markets, including Europe, the United States, and India.
The One UI 8.5 update is based on Android 16, similar to One UI 8.0. However, it still brings major improvements and UI changes. You can have a look at One UI 8.5 in our video below.
