Samsung has already released the July 2022 security patch for a handful of Galaxy smartphones, and today, the company finally revealed the official changelog for this month’s patch.

The security update contains three Android OS vulnerabilities marked as “critical” and about two dozen vulnerabilities of “high” severity. Interestingly, this month’s security patch contains no fixes for “moderate” vulnerabilities.

41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures addressed

As usual, aside from the Android OS vulnerabilities addressed by Google, the July 2022 security patch also includes dozens of fixes for Samsung SVE items. In other words, these are fixes that concern only Samsung’s software.

A total of 41 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures got addressed with the July 2022 security patch. They concern aspects like Samsung Finder, Wearable Manager Installer, Contacts storage, the Messages app, Knoxguard lock, and more. You can find the full list of fixes here.

Samsung will continue rolling out the July 2022 security patch for eligible devices throughout the month. If your Galaxy device hasn’t received the update yet, keep an eye on our firmware section, or stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted.
