The first rumor to hit the internet about the next-generation Galaxy Ring comes from a Korean forum. It claims that Samsung is planning to launch the second-generation Galaxy Ring sooner but doesn't reveal the actual time frame for the launch.
It also claims that the next Galaxy Ring will be thinner than the first one but still have a longer battery life. It would be interesting to see how Samsung manages to thin down the Galaxy Ring while increasing the battery life. For that to happen, the company needs to shrink the components inside and use a newer-generation battery.
The rumor also claims that the next Galaxy Ring will have more features but doesn't reveal what those features would be. Those features could be related to integration with Galaxy smartphones or other Samsung devices.
The story continues after our Galaxy Ring video below.
The first Galaxy Ring lasts anywhere between five and seven days, and it would be great if Samsung could increase its battery life so that it can last more than a week on a single charge. It would also be great if its charging case was a bit more compact.
