Samsung has released a new One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. This marks the second beta release for the Galaxy S25 lineup since the One UI 8.5 beta program officially kicked off on December 8. This is the same update that was released in India and Poland today.
The second One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series comes with firmware version ending ZYLH and has a download size of around 1.1GB. It brings several bug fixes, performance improvements, and better reliability to those who installed the first beta update in South Korea. This update will shortly be released in Germany, the UK, and the USA, and you can check its detailed changelog by clicking here.
Those who are on the beta can download the updated version from their phone's Settings > Software update menu.
Here's the full changelog for the update:
Samsung could release at least four One UI 8.5 beta updates before releasing the stable version sometime in early 2026. The Galaxy S26 series will be the first to run One UI 8.5 out of the box, and phones in that lineup will have some exclusive features that won't be released for older devices.
