The brand new 2nd Gen Odyssey Ark, which Samsung unveiled mere weeks ago, is now available at a massive discount thanks to Cyber Monday. Indeed, Black Friday deals are out while Cyber Monday deals are in, and prospective monitor buyers are definitely in for a treat.

Samsung has slashed no less than $1,000 off the Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen price! The curved 55-inch 4K monitor is now available for $1,999 instead of $2,999.

On the surface, the 2nd Gen Odyssey Ark looks similar to the 1st Gen, the latter of which we featured in a hands-on video from CES last year. However, the 2023 model does bring a few upgrades.

The 2nd Gen Odyssey Ark is more or less the same as the predecessor, with two big exceptions. First, it replaces the HDMI 2.1 port with a DisplayPort, and second, it features enhanced Multi-View. The newer Odyssey Ark supports up to four Multi-View inputs.

The list of impressive specs doesn't end there. The 2nd Gen Odyssey Monitor has a 1000R curved screen, a 4K resolution, a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, and a 165Hz refresh rate. It also ships with an exclusive Ark Dial that controls functions like Multi-View, Flex Move Screen, Quick Settings, and Game Bar.

And, of course, the 2nd Gen Odyssey Ark can show TV content through the free Samsung TV Plus platform, and can play games through the cloud via the Gaming Hub service.
