The S Pen may have fallen out of favor on Samsung's smartphones but it still plays an important role for the company's flagship tablet lineup.
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 series today which brings with it a revamped S Pen. The design makeover is meant to deliver enhanced control with improved comfort.
The S Pen has been redesigned for this year's flagship tablet lineup. Unlike the rather curved shape of its predecessor, the stylus now has a hexagonal design. This change has been made to deliver a more natural and ergonomic feel, enabling users to continue using the S Pen for extended periods without discomfort.
It also improves the S Pen's stability in the hand, allowing for more accurate input. The accuracy has been further enhanced with a new cone-shaped pen tip. It allows for increased tilt angles that deliver better control for drawing, sketching, writing, and more.
As always, there's no need to purchase the S Pen separately when buying Samsung's latest tablet. The company ships the S Pen with both the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra in the box. The stylus attaches to the back of the tablet for charging. If you're using an official keyboard case, it also tucks in neatly within that case for safe storage.
The Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra go on sale starting today in select markets across the globe.
