Some of you may recall that a few years ago, Samsung launched an interesting lifestyle TV called The Sero. Its 43-inch QLED screen can rotate by 90 degres to switch between landscape and portrait modes.
The Sero was originally launched for $1,499 and if it felt too steep at that price, you now have an opportunity to pick it up for $899.
Since a lot of the content that we consume these days is in portrait mode, the conventional landscape TV orientation isn't best suited to it. That's why Samsung made The Sero, so that users could switch between portrait and landscape modes on the TV.
You can rotate the screen by 90-degrees and then easily mirror content from your Galaxy phone to the TV. The Sero can actually rotate automatically to match the orientation of the content on your phone.
Samsung has since discontinued The Sero so you can't buy it new from the company. However, Woot is currently selling the factory reconditioned model of The Sero for just $899.
In case you wanted to buy The Sero when it first came out but felt it was too expensive for what it offered, at the $899, it's a far more compelling option. Be quick, though, because once the stock runs out, you won't be able to buy this TV at this enticing price.
