Feature expands beyond the Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung introduced the ability to use your Galaxy S26's camera as a webcam on computers with One UI 8.5.
The same feature has now been extended to the Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8.
All three of Samsung's new foldable phones come with One UI 9.0 out of the box. It has been confirmed that these models also provide you with the ability to use their cameras as a webcam for your PC.
It wasn't clear whether the new foldables will receive this feature. Even though it was introduced with One UI 8.5, as of last month, the feature remains exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series. Older devices like the Galaxy S25 series which have been updated to One UI 8.5 still don't have it.
You don't need any additional accessories to utilize this feature. The USB-C cable will suffice, so the one that ships with your new foldable in the box will work fine. There's also no need to install a companion app or any other tool on your PC. It just works.
