Samsung's low-cost Galaxy A04s has reached another market, this time outside of Europe. Samsung just announced that starting today, September 16, customers in Vietnam can buy the Galaxy A04s in one of three color options: Pink Bronze, Fern Green, or Nebula Black.

The device comes in one memory configuration featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage expandable via microSD. Samsung will sell the Galaxy A04s for VND 3,990,000 ($168). As of this writing, the budget phone is not yet listed on Samsung's online shop in Vietnam, but it should pop up by the end of the day.

What kind of smartphone can $168 get you in 2022?

The Galaxy A04s is equipped with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display that can refresh at a rate of 90Hz. The device is powered by the Exynos 850 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging capabilities.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos, and RAM Plus. The device carries a triple-camera setup comprising a 50MP (f/1.8) wide sensor and 2MP (f/2.4) depth and macro cameras. The selfie shooter has a resolution of 5MP and an f/2.2 aperture.

Although Samsung ships the majority of its Galaxy smartphone models without a charger in most markets, the company has included a 15W charger inside the Galaxy A04s retail box for Vietnam. Customers need not worry about buying this accessory separately and spending extra.

As a reminder, the Galaxy A04s is also available in several European markets, and availability will likely continue to expand into more regions. We'll keep you posted.
