Samsung has launched a new washer and dryer combo that has a 7-inch touchscreen display and AI-powered features to make laundry cleaning a lot easier. It is called the Bespoke AI One Body, and it has a 25kg washer at the bottom and a 22kg dryer at the top. It has the largest capacity washer in South Korea where it was launched today.

Thanks to its unique one-body design, the Bespoke AI One Body's total height is 80mm shorter than the combination of a washer and dryer that are stacked conventionally. It is different compared to the company's Bespoke AI Laundry Combo in which washing and drying are done in the same drum. The Bespoke AI One Body has two separate drums for washing and dring.

Its price ranges from KRW 3,698,000 to KRW 4,348,000, depending on the specifications and color you choose. It is available in dark steel, gray, silver steel, and white colors.

The Bespoke AI One Body has a 7-inch touchscreen display, which is called AI Home, can be used to control the washer and the dryer parts of the machine. It can also be used to control other SmartThings-compatible smart home devices, take calls from your phone, listen to music, and even watch videos via online streaming. It has a 3D Map View feature that displays a three dimensional view of your home and all the smart home devices in it and their current status.

It is compatible with SmartThings, which makes it possible to control the Bespoke AI One Body usign the SmartThings app on phones, tablets, and TVs. It also features a newer version of Bixby that is powered by large language models, and it can understand users even when they use a natural language style. It can remember context from previous conversations.

The washer and dryer combo has the following AI-powered features.

AI Automatic Detergent Injection: Injects appropriate amount of detergent, depending on the laundry load.

AI Customized Drying+: Uses an algorithm that detects laundry material and characteristics into four types: general, denim, towel, and delicate. It then uses appropriate drying even for thick clothing.

AI Customized Washing+: It automatically uses an optimal laundry course based on the type, weight, and level of contamination of the laundry.

AI Vibration And Noise Reduction System: It detects the vibration pattern of the washing machine, based on the floor where the washing machine is placed at and minimizes the vibration. It has a two-stage damper to absorb vibration. It keeps the noise level during spin-drying at just 51.7 dB(A).

The Bespoke AI One Body also features Auto Open Door, which is a feature that automatically opens the washer and dryer door for you after the washing and drying is complete.

Samsung claims that its new washer and dryer combo uses 45% less power per kilogram of laundry when washing compared to the lowest standard for Class 1 drum washing machines announced by the Korea Energy Agency.
