Samsung Wallet gets a new animation and Now Bar support

The Now Bar feature on Galaxy phones and tablets has been getting integrations with more apps since its debut with One UI 7.0 earlier this year. Yesterday, it brought SmartThings integration, and now, it has received Samsung Wallet integration via an update to the Samsung Wallet app.

Samsung Wallet can display flight and train status in the Now Bar

Samsung has just released a big update to the Samsung Wallet app (version 6.0.85) and its related add-on services. This update brings a new animation that is visible when you swipe down on an existing card or document to view all the added cards and documents. All the cards in the list come together from the left and right sides to show you a consolidated view. Earlier, this animation was a bit different.

You can see this animation in the video below.

More importantly, this update also brings Now Bar support. It brings you quicker access to your flight boarding pass or train tickets. It displays the status of your bus, flight, or train, depending on whether it is supported by the provider you used to make the purchase.

For example, in India, it shows the status of the train via ConfirmTkt, a train ticket provider app. It also displays the train number and the number of tickets you purchased via the app. Now Bar support for flight or train status may be missing in some markets, as it all depends on Samsung's collaboration with service providers in that particular country.
