TL;DR

  • Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9.0 to the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, beginning in South Korea.
  • The update uses firmware version G766NKSUBDZJ7 and should expand to other regions in the next few days.
  • One UI 9.0 adds Quick Panel customization, a privacy indicator, better Samsung DeX, Samsung Notes improvements, and accessibility upgrades.

After releasing One UI 9.0 (Android 17) for devices in the Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, Galaxy A, and Galaxy M series, Samsung seems to have turned its attention to less popular models. The company has now rolled out the new software to the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro.

As usual, Samsung has released the update first in its home country, South Korea. While the company hasn’t revealed the package size, the update carries firmware version G766NKSUBDZJ7 (via Mohammed Khatri). Samsung should release it in other regions over the next few days.

To check if One UI 9.0 is available for your Galaxy XCover 7 Pro, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.

One UI 9.0 brings more customization options for the Quick Panel, a location privacy indicator, an upgraded Samsung DeX experience, improvements to Samsung Notes, and enhanced accessibility features.
