Samsung has started rolling out the April 2026 security patch to the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro and the Galaxy XCover 7. It fixes 47 security issues present in the previous version of the OS.
The update for the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro carries firmware version G736BXXSBGZD1, and that for the Galaxy XCover 7 carries firmware version G556BXXSFDZD1.
At the moment, Samsung seems to be rolling out the update for the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro in Europe and that for the Galaxy XCover 7 in Thailand. The brand could release them in other countries in the next few days.
To get the latest updates on these phones, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Speaking of updates for these phones, they are eligible to get One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2), which offers a new UI and new features.
