Samsung updates Galaxy Tab S10 with December 2025 security patch

Samsung is rolling out a software update to the Galaxy Tab S10 in Korea. It offers the December 2025 security patch.

Earlier this week, Samsung started rolling out a software update to Galaxy smartphones that offered the December 2025 security patch, which fixes 57 security issues. The brand first offered it to the Galaxy S series, and then to the Galaxy Z lineup. Now, the company is releasing the latest security patch to its tablets.

Samsung is rolling out a software update to its lineup of flagship tablets from last year, the Galaxy Tab S10 series. It offers the December 2025 security patch. So far, the brand has released the update in South Korea. The update is 401.16MB in size and carries firmware version X820XXS5CYK1 (via @ya_sking12767).

Samsung may release the update to the Galaxy Tab S10 units in other regions in the next few days. To check as well as download and install it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Once the brand releases it internationally, we will make it available in our database.

Earlier this month, Samsung opened the One UI 8.5 beta program for Galaxy smartphones. It brings many visual changes and new features, which you can check out in our video below. The Galaxy Tab S10 is eligible to get the new software. However, there’s no information about when the brand will offer it.
