Samsung updates Galaxy S24 with January 2026 security patch

Samsung is rolling out a software update to the Galaxy S24 series that offers the January 2026 security patch.

Samsung is rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra. It brings the January 2026 security patch, which fixes 55 security issues. You can read more about it here.

At the moment, Samsung is rolling out the update in its home country, South Korea. The update is 404.35MB in size and carries firmware version S92xNKSS4CZA1 (via Samsung Community and Tarun Vats).

We expect Samsung to start rolling out the update in other regions in the next few days. To check if the brand has made the January 2026 security patch available for your Galaxy S24, as well as to get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
