Yes, Samsung TV Plus isn't shutting down or going away anytime soon. However, that isn't true; you don't need to worry about losing out on free streaming.

Samsung clarifies that Samsung TV Plus isn't shutting down

After Samsung sent a notice to some Family Hub Refrigerator and TV owners about Samsung TV Plus going away, users were outraged. However, through X (formerly Twitter), Samsung has clarified that the notice was an error and asked users to disregard it. Samsung TV Plus said it isn't going away anywhere. So, you don't need to worry about your free video streaming service going away if you're living in the USA.

Some users said the most used smart feature on their Family Hub Refrigerator is Samsung TV Plus, while others said they preferred a Samsung TV over TVs from other brands because of Samsung TV Plus. Some considered filing a lawsuit against the South Korean firm if it removed Samsung TV Plus from its devices.

In our video below, you can watch glimpses of Samsung TV Plus in action on a Family Hub+ Refrigerator.
