Samsung is adding more content to its ad-based free streaming network in the USA. Samsung TV Plus, which now hosts more than 250 premium channels, is adding five new shows, two of which will go live next month.
The three new channels going live on Samsung TV Plus this month are The Price is Right, Jamie Oliver, and Divorce Court. (via Cord Cutters News)
- The Price is Right, hosted by Bob Barker, is live on Samsung TV Plus, where seasons 11-14 are broadcasted in rotation.
- The Jamie Oliver channel is now running 24/7 on TV Plus and brings 22 series, including food adventures, documentaries, celebrity cooking shows, and more.
- Divorce Court, now live on TV Plus, is a channel owned and operated by Samsung. It follows the drama of a no-nonsense judge and soon-to-be-exes that come to Divorce Court to settle cases.
Women's History Month is coming to Samsung TV Plus in March
In addition to the three new channels detailed above – available now on Samsung TV Plus in the USA – the company also announced more content in celebration of Women's History Month, available in March.
- The FilmRise network is adding Leading Ladies Marathon to Samsung TV Plus next month, starring Kate Hudson, Whoopi Goldberg, and more. More shows and movies are coming to FilmRise next month, including Madame Bovary, Gang of Roses, My Other Mother, After the Storm, and Mrs. Dalloway.
- In March, in celebration of Women's History Month, The Movie Hub on Samsung TV Plus will feature films starring Hollywood actresses, including Lawless, Vice, Mad Money, Out of This Furnace, and more.
Samsung released its 2023 Neo QLED TV series in the USA earlier this week, bringing new 4K and 8K TV models with screens sized between 43-to-85 inches. The Neo QLED TV series gets free access to Samsung TV Plus and other streaming services, including Gaming Hub.
