There's a new addition to Samsung TV Plus in the United Kingdom, one that sports fans are going to particularly like.
A Your Sports News channel has been launched which will deliver 24-hour sports news through Samsung TV Plus.
Samsung TV Plus has developed into a robust free, ad-supported streaming service. It provides convenient access to more than 100 live channels in addition to on-demand programming.
The Your Sports News channel has been launched in collaboration with PA Media. It will showcase reporting, video, and archive material alongside breaking news, press conferences, interviews, and highlight content.
All of the content will cover a wide range of sports, so there will be something for everyone. Coverage will include domestic and international competitions such as the Premier League, Formula 1, golf, cricket, rugby, athletics, and UEFA club tournaments.
This channel fills a gap on Samsung TV Plus which already offers a considerable variety of sports-related content. However, it tends to break that up by sport, whereas this channel will bring news, coverage, archival content, and more for some of the world's most popular sports in one convenient place.
The 24-hour Your Sports News channel will be operated by the Netherlands-based MPG Media Group. It's responsible for real-time content, scheduling, playout, and distributions.
