Samsung's Smart Monitor series is now available at discount prices through Amazon. The retailer offers both the M5 and M7 models at lower-than-standard prices, and customers can save up to 21%.

Amazon is selling the 27-inch Smart Monitor M5 for $219 after a $60 (21%) discount. This deal is valid only for the 27-inch variant in white.

Meanwhile, Amazon is offering the Samsung Smart Monitor M7 at discounts of up to 18%. The 32-inch 4K UHD variant is available for $367 (down from $449), but customers can also save $100 on the 43-inch 4K model, which is temporarily available for $499.

PC monitors with Samsung smart TV functionalities and Office 365

One of the things that set the Samsung Smart Monitor series apart from other PC monitors is that both the M5 and M7 run Tizen OS. The latter operating system lends smart TV functionalities to the M5 and M7, both of which support apps such as Netflix, YouTube, HBO, and more.

Another unique aspect of the Samsung Smart Monitor lineup is the pre-loaded Microsoft Office 365 suite, which allows users to create and edit documents without having to connect the monitor to a PC or a smartphone.

The M5 and M7 can work independently, thanks to Tizen OS. The monitors don't have enough processing power to replace your PC, but they can handle light tasks. In other words, they are very smart monitors powered by Tizen OS but shouldn't be confused with all-in-one PCs. Check the links below for more details and the latest Amazon offers.
