The 10mm Samsung LED display at the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix has over 22 million pixels, spans wider than a football field, and mirrors the shape of the F1 logo. The Samsung display has a maximum brightness of over 8,000 nits. In addition to the Samsung LED signage for the F1 logo, the company has also provided LED signage on the exterior walls of the F1 building, three grand screens, entrance points of the venue, and many parts of the racing track.
As per the official information, Samsung has provided a total of 25,000 LED module units for the system. The LED signage offers immersive and close-up views of the race. This is not the first time that Samsung has been involved in providing its displays for major sporting events. Previously, Samsung installed its smart signage systems at Minute Maid Park, it also installed the largest indoor LED Cube in the Swiss Life Arena.
Renee Wilm, Chief Executive Officer of Las Vegas Grand Prix, Inc., said, “Through our partnership, we are achieving this goal with the innovative technology that Samsung has brought to the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.”
