Samsung found a unique way to showcase The Freestyle's outdoor capabilities to prospective buyers in the UK. And what better way to do it than actually bringing the portable projector outdoors? Samsung KX has partnered with premium outdoor equipment specialist Outsiders to demonstrate The Freestyle in the middle of Coal Drops Yard, London.
In partnership with Outsiders, Samsung has set up a “Land Station” tent as an outdoor retail space at Coal Drops Yard. The idea is to demonstrate The Freestyle's portable nature and capabilities in a real-life camping scenario.
Visitors can watch short films and enjoy a complimentary coffee
The Freestyle, announced at CES in January, is a portable projector, smart speaker, and ambient lighting device all in one. The projector weighs less than 1Kg (830 grams), which makes it a great choice for people who may want to create an outdoor cinema experience while partying in their backyards or when camping.
Samsung demonstrates these qualities at its new makeshift camp in London, and visitors can enjoy a series of short films presented by The Freestyle near the Outsiders store. To make things even more interesting, Samsung is giving customers an opportunity to enjoy a complimentary coffee at the nearby Samsung KX experience space.
The outdoor retail display will be live in Coal Drops Yard, near King's Cross, until October 23.
