Samsung seems pretty confident about Galaxy Wide Fold

According to a report from Korea, Samsung is planning to produce one million units of the Galaxy Wide Fold.

Last month, a report from Korea claimed that Samsung is developing a Galaxy smartphone with a book-style foldable display that will be wider than the screen that we have been seeing on the Galaxy Z Fold series devices, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 7. It is said to offer a much better video viewing and web browsing experience.

Currently being referred to as the Galaxy Wide Fold, the South Korean tech giant seems to be making this device to pit it against Apple’s upcoming foldable iPhone, which is said to have an equally wide screen. Well, now we have another report on the wider Galaxy Wide Fold, and it shows that Samsung is very confident about the device.

According to a new report from ET News, Samsung is planning to produce one million units of the Galaxy Wide Fold. Reportedly, this is the largest production volume of a special edition Galaxy Z series device till date (the Galaxy Wide Fold is being seen as a special edition phone). 

For your reference, Samsung shipped 500,000 and 30,000 units of the Galaxy Z Fold SE and the Galaxy Z TriFold globally, respectively.
