Samsung’s Good Lock app and its modules for Galaxy smartphones allow users of these devices to customise many aspects of the software to a greater degree than One UI allows. However, since they work so closely with the operating system, any major update to the OS ruins the compatibility between them, and it is no different with One UI 9.0 (Android 17).
Last week, Samsung announced One UI 9.0 and released its beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. As the new software brings major changes, many Good Lock modules don’t work with it. Now, the South Korean tech giant has revealed which modules are compatible with the brand's latest Android customisation, and which aren't. You can check them out below.
Samsung says that it is working on making the Good Lock apps that don’t work with One UI 9.0 compatible with the new software. We expect the brand to solve the compatibility issues by the time it releases the new software's stable version.
