It has been over three weeks since Samsung released the fourth One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series, and users have been eagerly awaiting the next build. The company has now revealed when the One UI 9 Beta 5 update will arrive.
A Beta Operations Manager confirmed on the Samsung Community forum that the fifth One UI 9.0 beta build will be released for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra next week.
The representative apologized for the delay and promised that the upcoming release will be more stable, adding that the development team is focusing its efforts on finalizing the quality of the Beta 5 update.
With the stable version of One UI 9.0 having already debuted alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, Samsung's next step will be rolling out the stable update to existing eligible devices, starting with the Galaxy S26 lineup.
Additionally, Samsung appears to be preparing to expand the One UI 9.0 Beta Program to more high-end devices, including the Galaxy S25 series (including the Galaxy S25 FE), the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
