Yesterday, Samsung started teasing a new Galaxy F series smartphone, the Galaxy F70 Pro. Now, the brand has revealed the phone’s features, as well as its pricing for India.
On Flipkart, the dedicated page for the Galaxy F70 Pro has been updated from just teasing the device to highlighting its key features and prices. According to it, the phone will feature a Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.
The phone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. However, Samsung hasn’t revealed its model. The SoC is mated to LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The brand says that it will ship the phone with One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2) and offer it six major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
The phone has three cameras at the rear: a 50MP sensor with a wide lens and OIS as the primary camera, a 5MP camera with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP sensor with a macro lens. Samsung says that the phone can record 4K videos for up to eight hours. While the company hasn’t revealed the front camera’s resolution, it says that this will be the only phone in the segment featuring an HDR selfie camera.
The Galaxy F70 Pro packs a 6,000mAh battery and supports 45W charging. According to Samsung, it can stream YouTube videos for more than 24 hours on a single charge. There’s also bypass charging onboard like many other Samsung smartphones. The brand will offer the phone in Alpha Black and Aura Green color options.
Samsung will offer the Galaxy F70 Pro in three RAM and storage configurations. Below are their details and prices.
The brand also says that there will be special launch pricing on offer. Unfortunately, the company has neither revealed the phone's launch date nor its availability details.
