As this month began, Samsung detailed the March 2026 security patch. However, the brand has still not offered last month’s security update, the February 2026 security patch, to many devices. The Galaxy M53 was one of them. Fortunately, not anymore.
The Galaxy M53 units in India are getting a new software update. It offers the February 2026 security patch, which addresses 37 security issues, making the device more secure. The update is 325.09MB in size and carries firmware version M356BXXSEGZB7.
To get the update, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We will soon make the firmware available in our database. You can then download it from there and install it manually using Samsung’s Odin tool.
The Galaxy M53 will get a software update in the next few weeks that will offer One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). It will bring a new user interface and many new features, giving your phone a fresh breath of life.
