TL;DR

  • Samsung has started rolling out the first One UI 9.0 beta for the Galaxy A35, based on Android 17.
  • The beta is currently available in South Korea and India, with more countries possibly joining soon.
  • Users can enroll through the Samsung Members app, but Samsung warns the beta may have bugs, instability, and higher battery use.

A few days ago, evidence pointing that Samsung could open the One UI 9.0 (Android 17) beta program for the Galaxy A35 was discovered. It has finally turned out to be true, as the beta update has begun rolling out now.

Samsung has released the first beta version of Android 17-based One UI 9.0 software for the Galaxy A35. Currently, the brand has released it first in its home country, South Korea, and India. Other countries could also soon get this brand-new software update.

If you have a Galaxy A57, live in any of the countries mentioned above, and want to beta-test the new software, you can enroll your device in the One UI 9.0 Beta Program by installing the Samsung Members app on your phone.

After opening the Samsung Members app, log into it using the same Samsung account tied to your phone. Now, navigate to the One UI 9.0 Beta Program section and follow the steps mentioned on the screen. Then, open the Settings app, navigate to Software update, and tap Check for updates.

Note that the new software is in beta phase right now, so it could have several bugs, performance and stability issues, and increased battery consumption. We advise you not to install it on a phone that is critical for your daily life or work.
