Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G9 beast monitor gets a $700 discount

Samsung's breathtaking 57-inch ultra-wide Odyssey gaming monitor is not cheap, but then again, it's not your standard affair. It's the world's first dual UHD monitor, and it's chock-full of impressive technologies and specifications. Now, it's available at a hefty discount.

The 57-inch Odyssey Neo G9 went on sale last year for $2,499. But thanks to Samsung's new limited-time offer, you can now save $700 and buy this beast of a monitor for $1,799.

This monitor boasts a quantum Mini-LED curved panel with a 1000R radius and 2,392 local dimming zones. It has a 32:9 aspect ratio and a staggering resolution of 7,680 x 2,160.

The Odyssey Neo G9 also features HDR10+, 420 nits of brightness (Typical), a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro, a response time of 1ms (gray-to-gray), and quality-of-life goodies like Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture.

This display sits on an ergonomic height-adjustable stand that can tilt and swivel, and RGB fans get the CoreSync and Core Lighting+ lighting elements at the back.
