After unveiling the Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor earlier this year, Samsung launched its 43-inch version in South Korea today. It's a 4K Mini-LED gaming monitor with a flat display and matte coating. It runs Samsung's Tizen OS, similar to its smart TVs, which means you can use apps to stream music and videos without needing a PC or any additional device.

The Mini-LED QLED gaming monitor has a rich contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, full-array local dimming, DisplayHDR 600 certification (over 1,000 nits peak brightness), HDR10+ certification, a 144Hz refresh rate, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, and built-in 20W stereo speakers. It has Game Bar, Samsung Gaming Hub (for cloud gaming), Flex Move Screen, and built-in Wi-Fi.

The Odyssey Neo G7's 43-inch version will be sold in South Korea starting January 2 through 11th Street and G Market. It is priced at KRW 1.25 million (around $982). In addition, the company will sell four other gaming monitors—Odyssey G7 2023 (28-inch and 32-inch G70B) and Odyssey G5 (27-inch and 32-inch G51C)—from January 2, 2023, in the country. Samsung will offer discounts and coupons on these monitors until January 15.

Samsung said that it will launch a new version of the Odyssey Neo G7 gaming monitor at its CES 2023 event.
