After announcing it in April 2025, Samsung has launched its first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor, the Odyssey 3D, in India. The company had annnounced in April 2025 that it will bring the monitor to India, and it is finally available for purchase. Since it has a new technology and a 4K panel with a high refresh rate, it is quite pricey.
The Odyssey 3D is now available for purchase in India via Amazon.in and Samsung India's websites. It is priced at INR 127,299 (~$1,480) and you can get a discount of INR 3,000 if you make the purchase using a credit or debit card from an eligible Indian bank. You can get additional discount if you have a Samsung Axis Bank Credit Card.
The monitor features an IPS LCD panel with 4K resolution, a 165Hz variable refresh rate, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 1ms response time, and 350 nits typical brightness. It has two 5W speakers in a stereo setup. Thanks to its front-facing camera for eye tracking and a lenticular lens, it offers three-dimensional (3D) visuals without a need for active or passive glasses. It even uses AI to convert 2D content into 3D.
It supports HDR10 and HDR10+ Gaming for displaying high dynamic range content. It features AMD FreeSync Premium and has the Nvidia G-Sync Compatible certification. Other gaming features include Black Equalizer, Off Timer Plus, Ultrawide Game View, and Virtual Aim Point. It has the Edge Lighting feature that offers RGB light effects below the screen.
It has two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, two USB Type-A ports (downstream), and one USB 3.2 Type-B port (upstream). It has a height adjustable stand with pivot and tilt adjustments. The monitor has a 100 x 100 VESA mount for using third-party arms, mounts, and stands.
