Samsung is the leading chip maker and one of the biggest smartphone manufacturers in the world. People stay updated about the company regarding new launches, new initiatives, and other inside tidbits via the official Samsung Newsroom and technology publications across the world.

Now, Samsung Electronics has announced that it has opened the Samsung Newsroom website in Sweden and Norway as well. Apparently, Sweden and Norway are the company's key markets in Europe, and Samsung Electronics has now started its separate newsroom services to share official information in their local languages. You can check out the official Samsung Newsroom Sweden website by clicking here, while the Samsung Newsroom Norway website can be accessed here.

Like the company's Global Newsroom, the Samsung Newsroom in Sweden and Norway will feature content from a wide range of genres, including “company’s latest news, campaigns, CSR actions, products and services, and business insights.” Samsung has had its presence in Sweden and Norway for over 30 years, and now it is bringing original content in their local languages.

Moreover, the launch of Samsung Newsroom in these two regions marks the 43rd and 44th Newsroom sites launched worldwide. With these launches, the total number of Samsung Newsroom websites in Europe now stands at 20. Recently, Samsung revealed that it breached the 200 million cumulative visitors mark across all of its newsroom websites worldwide.

Samsung’s product naming has a grammar problem

I'm a big fan of Samsung using proper nouns to label most of its home electronics. For instance, PC monitors names are no longer just a string of seemingly random letters and numbers. Instead, they belong to lineups named ‘Odyssey' or ‘ViewFinity.' It makes Samsung look better instead of coming across as a company that […]
