ASRock's new monitors use Samsung's new QD-OLED technology

After Samsung announced its newer-generation QD-OLED panel earlier this week, ASRock has unveiled two new gaming monitors that use Samsung's newest QD-OLED panels. They bring higher brightness and improved connectivity compared to last year's QD-OLED monitors.

ASRock has announced six new OLED monitors across its Phantom Gaming and Taichi series: PGO27QSA, PGO27QSA-W, TCO27QX, TCO27QXA, TCO27USA, TCO27USA-W. Some models use LG's W-OLED panels, while others use Samsung's QD-OLED panels. All of them feature 27-inch OLED panels with either 2K (QHD) or 4K resolution, up to 540Hz variable refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and dual-mode switching.

The new monitors have a color accuracy of Delta E < 2 and VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification. Taichi series monitors also feature the Taichi Lighting system for RGB lighting. Some models feature USB Type-C ports with 65W Power Deliver output to charge connected laptops, phones, or tablets. Select monitors also have a fully ergonomic stands with 90-degree pivot.

The Taiwanese firm hasn't announced the availability or pricing of its new monitors, but we expect to get more details about them at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, which is happening next week in Las Vegas, USA.
