Samsung Electronics has partnered with Netflix to bring an immersive Squid Game popup experience to life in Los Angeles and soon more cities around the world.

The “Squid Game: The Trials” experience in Los Angeles is now open to visitors, and tickets are available online at Netflix.com or Ticketmaster.

The live experience inspired by the Netflix hit series Squid Game and Squid Game: The Challenge lets visitors compete in games that were inspired by the shows. And as you might expect, Samsung technologies are enabling many of these experiences.

Samsung TVs and Galaxy phones make Squid Game ‘real'

The Squid Game: The Trials space in Los Angeles is powered by various cutting-edge Samsung technologies, including Neo QLED 4K and 8K TVs, The Frame, and Galaxy mobile devices.

At the entrance, a Neo QLED 8K TV greets visitors with the trailer to Squid Game: The Challenge, upscaled by the Neural Quantum Processor 8K in real-time.

In addition, other Neo QLED 8K and 4K, along with The Frame TVs, are placed strategically in play areas to enhance the experience.

Visitors can play Red Light, Green Light, during which the Galaxy S23 Ultra will capture key moments with high-quality photos and Hyperlapse video. Players can also use the S Pen to participate in the Digital Dalgona Challenge.

Visitors will receive these photos instantly via Quick Share or email. There's also a VIP room, where participants can observe ongoing challenges on an 85-inch The Frame lifestyle TV.

Samsung says tickets to the Netflix Squid Game experience in Los Angeles are available for a limited time through the new year.
