Ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) early next month, Samsung has announced two new wireless speakers: Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7. They seem to be replacing the Music Frame that was launched a couple of years ago and was designed to double up as a photo frame. It has also unveiled new soundbars with clearer and more natural audio.
The Music Studio 5 (LS50H) has a photo gallery-inspired design that complements your home interiors. It is a 2.1-channel wireless (but not portable) speaker with two tweeters and a 4-inch woofer. It is tuned by Samsung Audio Lab to a balanced sound, featuring a waveguide system. Its AI Dynamic Bass Control mechanism offers improved bass with minimal distortion even at higher volume levels.
The Music Studio 7 (LS70H) features a traditional bookshelf speaker design and will be available in black and white. It has a 3.1.1-channel setup, featuring front, left, right, and top-firing tweeters and a woofer. Its super tweeter has the capability to reproduce up to 35KHz high-frequency sounds for enhanced details, while the woofer is equipped with AI Dynamic Bass Control to deliver deep bass with minimal distortion.
The Music Studio 7 also features Q-Symphony, which means it can be paired wirelessly with Samsung TVs and soundbars for a wider stereo or a full surround sound system. It also features Hi-Res Audio for up to 24-bit/96kHz audio.
Both these Music Studio series speakers feature Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which means they support wireless music casting. It is likely that both support AirPlay and Spotify Connect, but Samsung hasn't confirmed it yet. They also have voice control and Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) for Bluetooth streaming from your Samsung phone or tablet. They can be controlled using the SmartThings app.
More details about these speakers will be revealed early next month after the CES 2026 expo starts on January 6, 2026. Samsung hasn't revealed whether it plans to bring a second-generation Music Frame speaker.
