Galaxy Z Fold 8
Samsung has collaborated with several luxury brands in the past to develop special editions of its popular devices.
If a new report out of South Korea is to be believed, the company might soon announce a similar collaboration for the Galaxy Z Fold 8.
Samsung has made Thom Browne editions for its Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold phones in the past. The company had also made a Galaxy Z Flip 5 Maison Margiela edition back in 2013.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 has become a spectacular hit for the company. It's said that the company wants to further capitalize on the popularity of the wide foldable phone by launching a luxury brand edition of the device.
The report doesn't mention which brand Samsung might go with, but given its longstanding collaboration with Thom Browne on foldables, it's possibly that we may see a return of the brand's iconic Americana stripes on Samsung's foldables.
No confirmation as yet from Samsung, so we'll have to wait for official word. The report does mention that Samsung will likely launch this device in the second half of this year. As with the previous branded editions, this device will likely be available in limited quantities and only in select markets.
