Samsung Electronics Mexico appointed a new CMO & Senior Director of Marketing for its Mobile eXperience (MX) division. Starting this month, Karen Goldberg Carrillo, an expert with more than 20 years of experience in marketing, will occupy the position.

Karen Goldberg Carrillo's career in marketing began in 2003. Before joining Samsung, she worked for brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, Brooks Brothers, Brunello Cucinelli, Emporio Armani, Crate & Barrel, Sephora, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

She studied Advertising, Communication, and Marketing at Anahuac University. Goldberg also honed her skills at the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and the Pan-American Institute of High Business Management.

Throughout her career, Karen Goldberg Carrillo made a name for herself through business strategy, customer intelligence, branding, strategic planning, digital marketing, business analysis, and strategic leadership skills. Samsung says her joining the tech industry should strengthen the company's presence in Mexico. The tech giant expects her to “share the brand's innovations from a new and interesting professional perspective.”

The new CMO & Senior Director of Marketing at Mobile eXperience says she has always admired Samsung and is “excited about this new challenge and being able to make history in this great company.” Alongside her new team, she aims to take Samsung “to new heights in the mobile market” and deliver innovation, quality, and exceptional experiences.

Instead, they belong to lineups named ‘Odyssey' or ‘ViewFinity.' It makes Samsung look better instead of coming across as a company that […]
