Samsung didn't say anything about its QD-OLED TV series in its invitation for the event, but there's a chance that this reemerging technology will be one of the company's main talking points at Unbox & Discover 2022.
Samsung's first QD-OLED TV was showcased at MWC and went on sale on pre-order terms for the starting price of $2,399. Branded “S95B,” the company's first QD-OLED TV of 2022 was announced with a 55-inch and 65-inch screen.
Samsung QD-OLED TVs promise improved color reproduction and better viewing angles compared to conventional OLED TVs. They also take advantage of the latest Neural Quantum Processor 4K and run Tizen.
Check out our video below for a closer look at this technology and what it means for Samsung's TV business moving forward. Unbox & Discover 2022 will go live on March 30 at 10:00 AM EDT / 11:00 PM KST. Stay tuned.
