Samsung has launched a new product in the Infinite lineup of home appliances in its home country, South Korea, an induction cooktop with an integrated hood.
The induction cooktop has a heat output of up to 7,400W when using all the burners simultaneously. It features ‘All Flex Zone,' nine levels of heat control, from 1 to 9, a boost function, and a ‘Keep Warm’ function.

As for the integrated hood, it sucks smoke and odour generated during cooking from between the burners, helping in keeping the kitchen pleasant while cooking, eliminating the need to install a ceiling-mounted hood, which allows people to have an open-plan kitchen.
The hood has a 4-stage filtration system, consisting of a grill for preventing large objects from entering it, a tray for catching spilled liquid oil, a grease filter for absorbing oil droplets generated during cooking, and a deodoriser to remove odour. It also has a ‘Smart Mode' that detects the pollution levels and adjusts the suction speed automatically.
Like most other Infinite home appliances, this one too has an ‘Infinite Glass' with a matte texture. Samsung says that the induction cooktop with integrated hood has Grade 1 efficiency. The brand has priced it at KRW 4.79 million ($3,234), and if you want it with a duct, you will have to shell out 4.989 million ($3,368).
